Hi Steven, Looks like the cash acquisition of the ASE division from Schlumberger is bearing fruit. This cooling capability during high performance testing BECOMES MORE IMPORTANT as line widths shrink (.13 and thinner and frequency cycles increase (i.e. Pentium 4 - 2.4Ghz).These are leading edge production now but these chips now becoming the norm. Without cooling - the chips meltdown.That's very hard on yield management.gg Cohu always had 95 % of the non memory pick and place testhandling.With this cooling capability - I believe a bigger piece of all chip testing will evolve into NEEDING a Delta Summit or Castle testhandler. Good News and strange that it comes on a friday ? Let alone a holiday friday ?? - I wonder if more is to come on monday?? Thanks for the sharp eyes. Bob
