Actually, there is a movement or a "floated" idea that the Palestinians be relocated in a strip on the Israeli border in the Sinai, a completely "empty space" as you call it. But frankly the two options you describe are respectively "Throw the Israeli to the sea" (your USA/Canada option), or evict the Palestinians (your Saudi Arabia option). Thus these is no fourth nor fifth options, there three and only three and the "process" of getting there. There were more than Millions of Greeks displaced, millions of Sikhs and so on. As I have mentioned, the 20th century has created 100 MM refugees world wide, and all have been resettled, but the Palestinians. The current Afghan refugees problem (about 4 MM or so?) will probably be settled before the Palestinians and their host Arab countries settle their problem. It seems to me that the Arab host nations are simply heartless, refusing for so long to tend to this problem. How can the leadership of the Palestinians allow a 16 year old teenager to become cannon fodder, if callousness and heartlessness were not the Machiavelian guiding light in their activities?
