Some clarification. Everybody's right... Based on late-breaking e-mail, I think that Bill was experimenting with the value for Avg_Price (aka Brad_CCI) when he created the charts I used for comparison.

Apparently, the different flavours of Avg_Price (1)with brackets, (2) without brackets, (3) without denominator at all) look like a family of curves which vary in terms of their "animation", but move up and down together. Using brackets in the denominator (1) is the most animated version.

I've been working on ways to map DNS indicators to a common scale based on LLV/HHV within a 28-day period. It's not the normalization that Wolfgang (I think it was him) mentioned in his post, but it has given me some interesting insights. Lots to talk about in NJ!
