Why would it be wise to "contain" a threat? I have the "evidence" of the threat, isn't evidence better than "containing innuendo," partly by expressing apparent doubt there was a threat? CL expressed no desire that his threat be kept confidential when he PM'd it to Ish. Are you interested to see whether CL made a threat or not? Send me a PM and I'll send it to you. If CL authorizes it, I'll even post it here. No need for there to be the least bit of mystery about this!

In this remark, you have impugned my credibility. I take it as casting an insulting personal aspersion:

Would you be specific, please, as to any mischaracterization I have ever made purporting that something that was a non-threat was a threat. I ask because I feel personally insulted and don't believe I have ever done that.

My prediction is that you will leave the insulting aspersion, and will refuse to substantiate it, and will also decline to learn what threat was in fact made by CL after characterizing a threat as mere "innunendo." IMO this would fit the pattern of your interactions so is most likely to be your response.
