I hate to be controversial, but why are so many people on this board fixated with Warren Buffet? I think we all agree that Warren Buffet has had a tremendous historical track record, but I would hope that each of us would try to find our own investment style and not mimic or be concerned with someone else's strategy. I believe that each investor should seek to fine tune an investment style that will work for him or her. This could be a growth strategy, value strategy, or some other strategy. These could be influenced by great investors, but after a while I think we should be able to "cut the cord" and be comfortable with our own analysis. And what if none of our own investment strategies seem to work, or we don't have time to do a thorough analysis? Well, index funds are not such a bad thing ... MC
