I personally find offensive because I think guns do far more harm than good. However I just don't see it as a violation of the thread rules here. I interpret it as an over-the-top expression of frustration with you, but not a threat.

I had asked you earlier today why you were here. It's my impression that you arrived here because your name had been mentioned, probably in a negative light. I know if my name had been mentioned negatively on a thread, I'd go looking for "justice", so I can empathize a bit.

However, though I never knew Edwarda, I think --- as a Christian--- that your statements about her were ungenerous and resulted in the opening of many peoples' wounds. In this season of atonement, I ask that you look at your motivations for being here, at the pain and anger that your statements have caused, and move on.
