If you could come to religion by logic and reason, faith wouldn't be necessary, would it?
Faith is the leap you take into belief, that cannot be taken logically. As I understand most religions this "faith" is a critical component. If a religion was perfectly logical and obvious, then no faith would be required to believe it, and there would be no "testing" of the believers. The testing part seems to be important in most religions.

Many people have tried to reason their way to many different faiths. As far as I know none of them ever did an unassailable job. You would think, if a reasonable path existed, it would be unassailable. In fact, it seems to me that there is a design flaw in whatever religion is the true religion, (if there is such a religion) in that it is not the obvious and eminently logical choice.
