No contest before it's time. (or) The Grapes of Wrath

Dave,

My impression of posts on this thread from those many
who post here is that the trading is almost like day trading
since conditions in these markets are influenced very much
with great and many world events like the 9/11 terror attack
and the Enron/Anderson and the now Middle East situation.

Since all the above have the potential to cause up-heavel
in ways just guessed at today, might any contest over a
short 3 days out be just too un-knowable ? I do admit that
selective stock picking does require knowing that TA and FA
and other stuff i'am not into, but even those i have grown up
with like GE seem to be touched with the Anderson sickness.

Might until world events un-flow like the Middle East, Anderson
and any further terrorist advances occur that a week by week
un-official contest predicting more global objects like the numbers
associated with DOW, Nasdaq, US dollar and indexes you guys
mention like SOX be more of a predicting contest so that them trends
might be better talked about.

A quick hype by me to a question about any block-buster companies
that may change in a large hic-up a market sector like a scientist
discovers cold fusion for cheap energy delivered. To me that sector
of DNA and protein research might be affected if a science person
can develope a tool or machine thats a factor of ten better than what
is now being used so that advances can occur in one year rather
than ten years out. My pick is haberscience.com
with pinksheets HABE.

Hopefully i don't scare away people from viewing these pictures
with me saying that i like them because many on this sample page
remind me of my home planet Pluto where all life forms live under
the planet's surface in the many large caverns.

ok,ok, thats a lie
Full Disclosure: Planet Pluto is not a planet but a spacecraft
disguised as a cold rock. Them who live there, like me in disguised
on this planet Earth, fleed from our Krell planet after that machine
"took over" and to this day is waiting for us to return so that we can
finally "service" it's desire for physical gold. Yes, we have visited
your planet these last many years once it became knowed to all
who travel light-years looking for the cheapest gold price, and lucky
for us Krell folks we discoved about 40 years ago, that for some reason
that does not make sense to us, the United States groups of people
decided to rid themselves of their gold at very cheap prices.

We shall leave soon since the United States's vaults of gold have been
replaced with a strange replacement of little value, something you call
fiat paper :o)

Yes, soon on page 1 of Science magazine, or page 26 of People,
will have this man who discovered planet Pluto is missing, and soon
after it will be discovered that USA's Fort Knox is empty.
