Nice try, but if you were to actually look at the proxy statement for the annual meeting to be held next month, you will see that on 12/31/2001, when the stock was about a buck and a half above where it is now, the value of exercisable but not yet exercised options was listed at:
$21 million for Sanders
$1 million for Maghribi
$1.5 million for Herb
$1 million for McCoy

These guys must be expecting a better gain for their $9.56, $10.46, $12.40, and $14.15 strike price options - they seem to be convinced that AMD's stock price is headed up, not down.

Why did the number of Intel Insider sales double?
