The holding period adds to the challenge; according to the latest contest results, only 9 out of 31 players turned a profit through Thursday's close. The SP500 is flat YTD. So less than half the players here beat the main market index. Maybe Dave could run two contests, one straight buy and hold with buys on April 8 only and a second contest with more trading.
