Weyerhaeuser didn't get whacked so hard by the tariff, not nearly so as did Canfor for instance, also they have US operations to subsidise losses here, also they are moving raw logs south at an increasing pace .... these general things said, my knowledge of specific mill situations is quite limited

Forgot a main point in your mentioning of that post on the Elián thread - i'm quite disappointed that the thread died when he was released and reunited with his family, i had thought maybe discussion there would shift focus onto how to rid the situation of the Castros and Helmses and Alarcones and Burtons, so Elián could have a better life in which to grow up, and so he could join the thread one day ..... but people just lost interest, thought it was 'over'
