Forgot a main point in your mentioning of that post on the Elián thread - i'm quite disappointed that the thread died when he was released and reunited with his family, i had thought maybe discussion there would shift focus onto how to rid the situation of the Castros and Helmses and Alarcones and Burtons, so Elián could have a better life in which to grow up, and so he could join the thread one day ..... but people just lost interest, thought it was 'over'
That's the trouble with you liberals- -you think the world can be 'fixed'. Think of it as a rubber ball- -you push on it one place, it bulges out somewhere else.
