Understanding God? One needs to examine ones faith if one thinks God/Allah/Jehovah says heaven/paradise/salvation can be reached by suicide or the killing of others..... a sin against life is a sin against God/Allah/Jehovah I think this all goes back to Cain an Able....something I have had a hard time understanding....many have taken that God prefers the shedding of blood as a sacrifice for his blessings...that is not something I can hold as the wishes of God. As I understand it....God requested a sacrifice of a lamb and Abel did as God requested, Cain make a sacrifice of grain being a farmer....this was the problem I have struggled with, however, God was displeased with Cain because he did not do as God asked. God further suggested to Cain he would accept his offering if he tried to do better. Cain feeling jealousy and envy killed his brother Abel. God further instructed cain that sin or desire should not rule him meaning he should show discipline and do what is right and obey God. Cain's rebellious heart full of the sin of jealousy and hate, grew until he being, total consumed by it, murdered Abel. Cain's sin was seen by God....but, the message still exists today. Do what is right and obey God....God/Allah/Johavah does not accept murder or the killing of others! The last sacrifice God accepted was that of Jesus Christ. ...think about it, Mohamed wasn't even born yet...there is no new gosple from God for salvation. As God's Lamb Jesus instructed us all how to live....a very simple message was delivered by his life and words....Jesus did not preach a "religion" but a way for God's acceptance.
