There weren't any Iraqis in those planes on 9/11, the planes were hijacked by Saudi Arabians. But Iraq oil money didn't support the administration's campaign, while Saudi oil money did, so Iraq is now looking down the barrel of a missile launcher, while the terrorists in Israel continue to be fully funded by their buddies in Saudi Arabia.

But, Dan, you don't understand. Its not the Saudis fault......bin Laden, the mastermind that he is, managed to get Saudis on those planes so that we would hold the Saudis accountable and their long and fruitful relationship with us would be tarnished. He wants to drive a wedge between us!!

At least that's the spin coming out of DC. What is really interesting of late is the signing by the US of the UN's declaration stating that Israel must withdraw from Palestine. While we are signatory to that document, apparently Bush does not agree with its major premise......his latest comments indicate the US position is that we back Sharon's moves against Palestine, declaring that Israel is fighting its own war on terrorism.

Does the US have two foreign policies when it comes to the Middle East? Are we taking both sides in the hopst that if the world blows up, we won't get blamed? <g>

I think that thing that got me over the top with the Saudis is when I heard that the Saudi minister who attended the peace summit in Beirut kissed in greeting the Iraqi representative and acted as if Saudi Arabia and Iraq are the allies we aren't.
