First, I'm glad to see that you do believe the terrorist groups are NOT justified in their methods AND should be held accountable. We are in full agreement (for once). The only approach I see is basically the same one
being used by the US in Afghanistan ... Tell the organization which has authority in the region that the terrorist group resides --> Turn over the terrorists OR turn over your authority. Then follow through based on the decision of the leadership of the region. If Arafat chooses to not support these demands, then his organization (all of it) must go and a new one, that would fight terrorism, needs to be put in place. This is what the US is doing in Afghanistan. The same will work in the Mideast.

Yousef, I can't argue with your conclusions. However, I am afraid the only way to get Arafat out is to kill him and that would only martyr him. I guess it would help if a crack develops in the Arab's current united support of Arafat. That would make things a lot easier. However, so long as Arafat acts the part of "poor me"...david against goliaths, I don't see that happening.

I guess we will have to wait and see how this plays out.
