The write down is not of course part of the cost of producing gold on an ongoing basis. You either know this and are being deliberately misleading or don't know this and have no business discussing it. As a matter of interest do you have any clients? Or do you deal in gossip and innuendo and pass this off as investment advice. It's a sad and pathetic obsession you have with Barrick
