keithsha's original point related to OS, not hardware. Fujitsu achieved its results with Solaris, not Windows. Sun has not submitted many TPC-C results since that benchmark was changed. I believe they do have systems that will perform at or near the top of the list; they just haven't spent the money to prove it by a formal benchmark. Whether that is a good decision or not is an open question; it's nice to have documented bragging rights, but as the clustered results demonstrate, TPC-C has some shortcomings as a benchmark (edit: and it is quite expensive to run).
