Depending on price and rate of release, the national bullion hoards could be sold in an orderly way over around 20-30 years. It would then be sold into useage and when the concept of national hoards is gone(after the 20-30 years) then it would be like silver, just responding to amounts mined, used and recycled. Large amounts of industrial gold never resurface as it gets used in trace amounts not worth recyclig(gold plated pens, etc) In side moder computers which will end up in the trash, and are also not worth recycling. Of course of gold gos to $3000 an ounce it starts to get economic to recycle landfills.
