I take issue with the assertion that BH thinks like a venture capitalist -- this is far from the case. VCs that blindly invest in concepts go broke and should not be counted as VCs. Successful VCs do not fall in love with technology and forget to do their homework on the business prospects. Successful VCs keep a very sharp eye on valuation. And successful VCs pull th plug on their losers -- of which there are many. BH does not think like a VC. He is a guy with a couple of lucky years and an ego problem who wanted to think of himself as a VC -- a wannabe VC with little of the skill and judgement that it takes to be a long-run success in high risk investing.
