Ann was coming at the "hunting for pleasure is evil" argument from the ethical stance when in fact if she lives a fairly 'normal' life her conveniences and pleasures cost the lives of animals. That makes her a hypocrit IMHO.
I perused the list in the link you provided but they provide no detail on many of the things they and you list as animal derived.....here are a few.., can you tell us what an animal product is used for in the following?
tires, matches, china, chalk, mouthwash, deoderants, paper, glass, rubber, antifreeze, ceramics, plastics, asphalt, petroleum products(we're not going back to the dinosaurs on this one, are we?), brake fluid....
Animal byproducts are used in the production of those as well.
I don't really have all the time to do research to prove this.. but I can find something for you to think about... hrm here...

My point to Ann wasn't that we should feel bad for all the animals we kill... It was that we can't really judge hunters while living in modern society.
