The Democrats get what? When they're in power the criminals get more consideration than the victims. In addition, up until Wm. Jefferson Clinton showed them how to steal the fiscal responsibility part of the Republican platform, the majority of Democrat candidates were winning elections by handing out checks & pork. Neither party is ideal or even adequate these days, but since we definitely need a strong military & I agree with many members of the Repub party (Bob Dole, Jean Kirkpatrick, Geo W Bush, Tom Ridge to name a few) I'll stay in the uncomfortable position of belonging to the same organization as Jerry Falwell(yuck). Conversely, if I was a Democrat, I'd be in the same group as Barbara Streisand, Jesse Jackson, Bill Baldwin(yuck,yuck). Can't have everything....until we organize The Moderate Party.
