I simply can't watch Letterman anymore except when Julia Roberts is on :-)....I don't find his humor funny. Leno's routine is topical and often political but he has to prep his young audience, ie tell them what the news event is, and then tell the joke. He then repeats the punch line as if trying to make sure they get it.... And yes, bathroom and sex humor is always a big part of the routine. Leno truly enjoys his work, never negotiates salary, and has always taken the offer he is given....I don't think that's true of Letterman who has the reputation of being very difficult to work with.
