That would be really neat, but Intel will still be paying depreciation charges on some of their .18 FABs and .18 equipment in 2005.

That's the trouble with pretending you made profits by not counting half the expenses of chip production.

AMD doesn't play that game - AMD depreciates as fast as they build.
