Just ran across a story at MarketWatch.com that mentions a news item on Samsung:

cbs.marketwatch.com

<<Bloomberg News reported that Samsung, the world's biggest computer-memory-chip maker, may post pretax profit of as much as 2 trillion won for the first three months of this year and surpass 2001's record annual profit of 6.1 trillion won, analysts said. Samsung Electronics gained 0.9 percent to 377,500 won.>>

Sounds like the computer-memory-chip market is "booming".
