AJ: Yes, I saw that and good point. I am more focused on OEX as it carries the biggest caps. Such leadership seems necessary to push the broader market up in something other than an unsustainable upthrust. Plus, the Vix relationship to the OEX makes it that much more important IMO. OEX "failed" to make another equal top in this rally even with a free-falling Vix all throughout March. That is not bullish. It is like pushing on a string. And is now looking like it is rolling over in the $BPOEX. Just as the COMP will have problems without the larger cap NDX, the SPX should have the same problems without the OEX larger caps in my mind. Not sure if the $BPOEX leads the $BPSPX like the $BPNDX leads the $BPCOMPQ.
