SEDONA Corporation Signs Reseller Agreement With Financial Services, Inc.; Leading Core Processors Continue to Select SEDONA as CRM Partner

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 2, 2002--SEDONA(R) Corporation (Nasdaq:SDNA) (www.sedonacorp.com), the leading provider of Web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for small- and mid-sized financial services companies, today announced that it has entered an agreement with Financial Services, Inc. (FSI) for FSI to resell SEDONA's Intarsia(TM) CRM solution.

Financial Services, Inc., also an IBM business partner, has chosen Intarsia as the CRM offering to its customer base of community and mid-tier banks. FSI is the largest service bureau for Kirchman Corporation, the banking industry's leader in automation and compliance.

In line with SEDONA's strategy to work with core processors who want to add state-of-the-art CRM capabilities, the agreement with FSI further reinforces this urgent market requirement.

"We're very excited about the value and opportunities of this new relationship," said Patrick J. Schunke, Senior Vice President, Client Services, Financial Services, Inc. "We strongly believe that Intarsia will enhance our product offerings for our clients and prospects, and it will help enable them to more effectively meet their CRM goals and objectives."

"The combination of FSI and SEDONA technologies and services provides a robust and highly-competitive banking solution," said Robert ("Grif") Griffin, Vice President of Strategic Relationships, SEDONA Corporation. "We can increase the synergy even further together with IBM to offer a complete turnkey solution."

SEDONA President and CEO Marco Emrich commented, "We are pleased to work with FSI as another outstanding partner who will be reselling Intarsia. The quality of their organization and their products is well respected in the financial services industry. For SEDONA, this agreement represents another positive milestone in expanding our market share and revenue opportunity."
