News reports over the weekend said that Bush was not directly involved in the Israel-Palestinian
conflict. Apart from making a few phone calls, he left the problem to others.

Last night on the news, a reporter said that people in Jordan saw Bush on tv over the weekend where
he warned Arafat to stop the violence. They noted that Bush, wore a a casual blue denim
and relaxed at his ranch while people in Israel and Palestine
were at war with one another. They were furious at Bush.
