To reiterate: White Republican suburban solutions for inner-city problems don't work. Republicans, however, are too stupid to realize this. Another reason people in large cities tend to vote Democratic is that Republicans don't give a sh*t anymore about what happens downtown. As long as their suburbs are functioning and their sports stadiums are in place, that's all that matters.

Reminds me of the hackneyed GOP mantra in '99 ... that "we run government more like a business." Don't hear that phrase much anymore since the American people saw the cozy relationship that Georgie Boy and Kenny Boy had.

As an aside, who's the worse sinner ... Willie Brown or Rudy Giuliani, candidate for deadbeat dad of the year?
