The more people like you insult me, the less and less I care about these problems that you mention. I just moved my family away from that democraticly controlled area partly because they BLAME me for the problems (as you have just done), when I would like to be part of the solution. If I judge them on the jobs they have done as mayors of large and diverse cities Giuliani wins by such an astounding amount that I don't know how to quantify it, Rudy is a uniter, Willie is a divider.
If I judge them on there personal problems (which is not what they were hired for) I would still say Rudy in a landslide. Admidetly I don't know as much about Rudy. I believe he has recently split with his wife and there are some ugly battles going on. Your comment indicates he has abanoned his responsibilties as a father. If so, I am glad this appaling trait is offensive to you. How specifically does he qualify as a deadbeat dad (those are guys that don't pay child support, right?)
I KNOW that Willie Brown has given his girl friend a publicly supported job at over $100,000 per year plus benefits even though she is completely UNQUALIFIED for the job. Her ineptitude has cost tax payeres thousands of dollars more. That is a FACT. If Rudy has similarly ripped off tax paying people like me (and you?) let me know and I may revise my opinion.
Willie Brown is a criminal imo and has personality issues very similar to our humiliated ex-President, Bill Clinton. |
