I thought about buying the stock shortly after it went public. I was a fairly new investor at the time. It looked like a concept that could sweep the country. I thought about buying it again, after it got pounded (I think the price was then about $2.00). Thank god, I never bought the stock. It is a good lesson that my subjective opinion about how much I enjoy a companies product or service should never drive my investment decisions. Good value from a consumer point of view does not necessarily translate into a good investment. All that cheap stuff I bought from now defunct internet retailers drives home this point. I like to check in once in a while on stocks like this one and other mistakes that I actually did invest in. It helps keep me on the straight and rational in my current investments. However, I still own a small position in stock or two that may be a little more of a story than a reality. So I can still be emotionally influenced. I guess we can all dream about that big turn around.

I eat at Silver Dinners in Northern Virginia, usually out in Fairfax.
