Bottom-Fishers, You're Too Close to the Surface

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looks like some of these chief financial officers kept their end of the bargain and stayed mum in the last week of the quarter so as not to mess up mutual fund portfolios.

Suddenly they are coming out with a vengeance. And of course, they are right in the breadbox of the market: the Nasdaq .

When I first got into the game, I always heard that executives would wait after a tough quarter to give the bad news, but it hadn't been the way things were done for a couple of years. Now the old protocol seems to be back in order.

That means we could be in for another day of NAZZ pain tomorrow.

Those of you who want to bottom-fish, you are way too close to the surface.

Give it a chance. It just finished being marked up for three days!
