Compaq jumps the competition, runs away with $25M contract

Compaq recently booted Dell out of a Global Account by negotiating a three-year global contract valued at more than $25 million with sporting goods and apparel company Adidas-Salomon AG.

Under terms of the agreement, Compaq will supply Adidas with 11,000 desktops and notebooks and provide services through Global Carepaqs during the next 36 months.
