Jochen, the New Yorker article may shed some light why the whole unrest in Israel arrived to a boiling point - Iraq fears US intervention and the establishment of a Kurdish state. More sad is the fact that no one in the general media even cares what is going on inside Iraq and the systematic destruction of the Kurdish fabric ......... or to CNN who so much "pretends to value life", thinks that the life of the Kurdish life has no value...... for sure CNN's media whore will not dare going into Northern Iraq
