I told you, I support Bush in the war on terrorism.
That is why I can't stand right-wingers using war-time as an opportunity to bash Clinton. They ask us to respect Bush and not criticize him. Fine. But then they keep bashing and demeaning Clinton even though in my lifetime I cannot remember a more successful 8 years for this country and the world in general.

The truth is the right-wing was very jealous of Clinton. Because his policies really worked. They HATED that. They hated that he was so popular. It scared them. So they decided to try and bring him down. How? Didn't matter. Find anything, anywhere, spread rumors, lies, innuendos, go into his bedroom, attack his wife, anything so long as Clinton's reputation was smeared somehow. It was dirty ugly politics and somehow they almost pulled it off. I say almost because when he left office he still had 70% approval ratings. Then they went to work on Gore. Never seen politics so down and dirty.

Not blaming Bush for Osama, but what we have now in the world is nothing to boast or cheer about. In fact we may be in for many tough years on many fronts, including the economy. Have tax cuts helped? I see no evidence of that, do you? I may support Bush as our commander in chief now, but except when he is forced to compromise on things like campaign finance reform (because of his buddies at Enron), I see little in the way of accomplishment. But don't bother him, right? He's busy fighting a war. He needs our support. Yeah, and as if Clinton wasn't busy trying to do important things too, like trying to make peace in the middle east for example.
