I am just trying to promote some critical thinking about prices and the state of technology business.

I am not expecting most stocks to go "much lower". I think a 20-25% correction on the best performers is possible since many have doubled off the September lows.

Business will continue to improve gradually for techs and it will probably take 5 years to get back to 1999-2000 sales levels. Of course many will never get there.

Prices for the best quality tech companies held up surprisingly (to me) well in most of 2001 and even in the face of 9/11. Strength for so long in such adverse circumstances should cause you to be less rather than more adamant in your price goal pronouncements.
