if you go back a little further on the Nikkei chart, it failed at resistance after its arguably manufactured rally... now it's come back to lots of support... I wouldn't have been surprised to see it knife right through, with oil prices and all... so maybe there's something more ro it, but how primary do you think it is really? Where's the tail, where's the dog?

Generally, I think we're still enough in a bear market, that formations and situations that might have been very tradable from the long side a few years ago need to be treated with caution... The oversold bounces are still super strong and go further than they should in a sane world, but the Nas especially has staged numerous fakeout breakouts over the last couple of years - does it in every time frame, and so do the invidual stocks.
