joseph can you clear something up for me........for 10s of years we were told through the media that russian jews were persecuted in russia ....so when they were finally allowed to leave many came to israel but could not find work because of their high qualifications (education)they did not want to sweep floors and many went back to russia or other parts of the world.my question is if they were discriminated against and persecuted and could not take part in russian society and what was offered to russians,where did they acquire this higher university education...this has been on my mind for some time and i have not been able to find the answer,,maybe you can clear it up for me
