Alaskan Advantages - Continued Residents dont need to hire a guide to go Billy Goat hunting,or Brown Bear hunting (although they are restricted to only one brown bear /4 years). Expensive food ?- I'm still working on eating that Moose I shot 3 years ago_- I split it with two other guys - Heck it tastes better than corn fed beef. Silver Salmon runs in Valdeze can load the freezer in two days of fishing. Who wants to drive a car when you can fly - Super cubs cost less than a 4x4 suburban??? Complain complain - can't help you with the cold - I left Wisconsin to move to Houston.What can I say the Geese were smarter than me - They at least migrated. I had to get warm. Just Joking - really do love your state - in the summer and fall. Besides if it was warm it would be populated like California - ughh Bob
