If they wanted freedom they could have already had that. Just think if they had embraced the israleis and worked together what could have been.

I realize my message is a tired one at this point but IMo it is a valid one. Islam had ample opportunity to move forward. Why didn't it? Christianity did. Judiaism did. Why are these religions different?

The Christians won the world about 500 years ago. Say what you will about them but things sure moved forward, didn't they.
The Jews made contributions to every country they were in. This is documented. The U.S. Revolution may not have succeeded without the Jews. But all that doesn't matter, those are things that people use to futher their agenda. Even if they are true.

IMo people need to look at alternatives. What would have happened had the muslam been the big cheese? No one knows for sure do they. However we can look at what the muslim did and extropolate it. what makes anyone think that things would be better under muslim rule? Their area of influence reached it's pinnacle 1000 years ago. Why would things be different? No Christianity with all it's faults is the reason why civilization is as far along as it is. Jewish people helped, but they weren't the driving force. Christians were. Whatever the reasons behind their advancement, don't deny thier contribution. They were the adventurers, they were the conquerors, and IMO the world is a better place because of them, even with all their faults. Even with all of their misdeeds.
