Kid Rock You can disable java to stop most popup windows but that limits your functionality. A program such as popupstopper is probably your best answer. I'm not familiar with that particular program but there's probably a choice under options or preferences that will allow you to turn the sound off and a keyboard bypass for allowing a window that is recognized as a popup to be shown. I use a program called popup killer. To display the popup window you can right-click the program icon and choose disable. ZoneAlarm Pro also kills popups. tc
