I agree. You'd think that a judge would have a better understanding of the U.S. constitution. I'm a Canadian, and sometimes I think I understand free speech protection provided by the U.S. constitution better than that judge. Of course, I have had the benefit of reading all the posts on this board, and the judge hasn't.

I also think the plaintiff's are wasting the companies money in this ridiculous suit.

I agree. I think that the plaintiffs are using their money and power to get revenge on the defendants rather than seeking justice. If this is the case, then I think that this lawsuit is an abuse of the court system. Varian and its lawyers should be ashamed of themselves!
