Let's parse this out a bit, then, cause I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do. And why you're doing it here, where "believers" are outnumbered and outtalked on the subject of religion.

I'm still struggling with the problem of how to explain to believers what it is about what they say and do that offends the beliefs of people who believe as I do. I think that it is necessary that they understand yet there doesn't seem to be any acceptable way to convey the basis of that understanding without offending.

Does this mean, in simpler terms, that you're looking to give "believers" a dose of our own medicine? This is what is unlike you, IMO.

Emulating zombies is dehumanizing. Becoming a zombie is even more so.

It really offends my "religion."
