ALL : This Saturday's SA Derby shapes up as being a key race from which Kentucky's winner might emerge (no news here). I don't have the advantage of having PP's of them - except for a few gleaned from web sites - but we'll get some important answers from colts like Came Home, Mayakovsky, Medaglia d'Oro, and USS Tinosa, among others. I'm not able to get out to the track or OTB, but will probably start buying the DRF on weekends for info. Races on the next two weekends will be very, very important. A very humble reminder to those reading this: I had the Lukas ex-claimer a few years back in both the Derby and Preakness. Naturally, I don't expect that kind of boxcar payoff in the Derby this year, but more modest double figures are a distinct possibility at this point in time. R
