Tom, Greenspan's "It's just psychology" statement when he didn't like the irrational exuberance in the market doesn't come up nearly enough, IMO. I don't understand how anyone with such a now documented lack of credibility is still in charge - or was he? Time has made his earlier documented observations and predictions now seem foolishly uninformed for someone supposedly running the world. The man behind the curtain can only be exposed so many times before before it goes from awe-inspiring to boring. Good posts and thanks for keeping the thread alive. With so many "myths" exposed and "company specific" blowups turned "systemic", I thought there'd be thousands of posts when I checked back here. regards, Tom
