I do not know if I at the right thread.
It is difficult - no matter what - to get a feel of where the markt is going and especially how far. For this it is desirable to have a system, a relationship between well known informations, that would solve this problem. Well I found one published in the Swiss newspaper NZZ. This article stated that a study of the European Central Bank has shown that an increase of 0.3% in the Inland Nationwl Product will produce an increase in the value of the stock market of 10%. (I do not know if it is admissable to replace the Inland National Product with the better known GNP).This - if dependable - would be a fantastic tool to measure and forcast a move in the stockmarket. Any comments on it? Fred Post
