OT--but I'm going to respond

Enigma, you should call yourself "Comedian"

<<Hops - I have noticed that you tend to slag off SH at most opportunities>>

Check out how often I post, then check how often you post. I let most opportunities go by.

<<that only goes to prove that you don't really read it, or if you do you miss the good posts.>>

There are a handful or two of posters on SH that are no-nonsene and provide useful info. The rest you can pretty much skip and not miss anything

<<it has been SH that has been front and centre in what's happening>>

...or not happening. Much of what's being written these days is in the realm of imagination.

<<Robinson of KOB and Zen has alluded to information posted on the thread about APC's tactics>>

That word "alluded" says it all. Graeme Robinson has gained a reputation among the threadsters for speaking straightforwardly. But that doesn't necessarily mean he's right in this case. He's in Australia and not here, close to the action. I think if you spoke to the people at the larger JVs, they wouldn't agree with him. Let us know what they say!

<<one of the j/vs has been quoted as saying that they learn more about what's going on from the SH thread than they do from the operator!>>

Oh? When was that? Could it have been back when BKP was the operator, one to two years ago? Why don't you call a couple of them today and ask if it's still true?

<<And if you're so down on SH what the hell do we learn from this thread or from you for that matter??>>

If passing on info was a requirement for posting, you'd be in big trouble, friend. While what I posted may not have had much info, it's a "hell" of a lot more than anyone might ever learn from your posts, which average about ten/day and at best sometime parrot what someone else has written. At least I personally call the companies I invest in, regularly, and ocaasionally post it. There was at least a little real information in my post, and it came from making phone calls. All you did was try to score points. You can have the floor now.
