See I believe in a living universe and that all quantum fluctuations are part of a process by which information moves around through the universe. It isn't hard for me to imagine myself as "pea" (cosmic force) in the "stew" (Cosmic Force) of the universe. I can't really define the universe without me and the universe can't define itself without me either, since I am undoubtedly here. Pretty cool if you think about it. I don't know if that is anthropomorphizing or not, but I don't expect the "Cosmic Force" to have a gender.

When I was a kid I went but couldn't identify with a lot of the stuff in the bible - it didn't all 'stick together' for me. I found an amalgam of other philosophies (largely eastern in origin) that helped me "understand" the relationship between the separate parts (the illusion from Hindu belief) and the whole (the ultimate universe). I'm not Asian but their vantage point seemed a lot closer to the way I thought things worked.
