hahaha! I already know whats going on there... they "plan" (pun intended) to let flex, slr etc. do the planning across the entire chain down to the component level using their ehub solution (which was manugistics last I heard). Cisco will provide the platform but labor comes from the chain. This ehub project was budgeted in 2000 before the collapse. Then it gained momentum after the inventory miss. It really is outsourcing to a degree so I'm not sure what this will do to their IT budget long term? some cisco people read this thread so maybe they can correct me if I'm wrong. I'm doing an ROI analysis on a financial supply chain now... thats the new thing you know... L
