I believe this because I no longer believe it was clear except to stupid me. I think you're right; what virtues there were to be had, I've had, and if there is some logical explication to be found on deep examination, the producers and backers probably didn't bother with it and it's not going to be rewarding enough to make the examination worth the time for me to do it.
