I'm a firm proponent of Gold Funds. Gold funds reduce single company event risk and have warrants (leverage) in small cap gold stocks. Those warrants are not available to individual stock purchasers

I'll bet that the average gold stock buyer would do better buying gold funds as opposed to individual gold stocks.
